Pastor Dennis was born in Cavite City, Philippines and migrated in the U.S. at the age of fifteen in 1981. He lived in San Diego where he finished his high school years. It was at Glad Tidings Church (AG) in San Diego where he committed his life to Jesus Christ at the age of nineteen.
Pastor Dennis felt God’s call in his life to be a pastor in 1986 so he enrolled at Southern California College which is now Vanguard University of Southern California (Costa Mesa) in the Spring of 1987. He graduated in 1990 with a B.A. in Religion emphasizing in Pastoral Ministry. Prior to becoming the lead pastor of NCCA, in 1992, he became the full time senior pastor of Blessed Hope AG in Long Beach, CA where he served until 2008. He was licensed by the Assemblies of God in 1992 until he received his ordination in 1996. In October of 1992, he met Emily in Carson, CA and they dated for more than a year before getting married in 1994. He was the former Fil-Am National Fellowship President and Fil-Am National Youth Director with the Assemblies of God.
Pastor Dennis is currently serving as one of the regional directors of Fil-Am National Fellowship. He is committed in promoting and developing deeper relationship with God within the Body of Christ. And, he is very passionate in mentoring young leaders especially those who are called to be in the ministry. He loves and enjoys traveling in different places with his wife, Emily, and their five children; Jeremiah, Isaiah, Isaac, Elannah, and Kairah.
Pastor Dennis strongly believe that “a life completely given to God will find no regrets until the end.” His favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 33:3 that says, “Call unto Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things you do not know.”
Pastor Dennis Geronimo became the Pastor of NCCA on January 1st, 2022.
